On 12.27, I transplanted Deanna Troi (Sour Krush) into a Earth Box! I think I am going to like the Earth Box more because it makes watering super easy and it has wheels so it’s easier to move around which really helps because I am a tiny person and lugging around a giant 15 gal smart pot is harder. I just wish they were more vertical then horizontal because they take up a lot of room.
Before I left for the holidaze, I got my soil all ready to go. When I got back it was covered in benefical mycelium! So cool! Some people on Instagram told me that this is a toxic mold and I should throw it out or else I could get people sick. lol this is not true. Too many people assume that all fungi/bacteria are harmful but that is not true. Here is some info on Streptomycetes
“Streptomycetes are gram-positive, mycelium-forming, soil bacteria that play an important role in mineralization processes in nature and are abundant producers of secondary metabolites. Since the discovery of the ability of these microorganisms to produce clinically useful antibiotics they have received tremendous scientific attention”
While I was gone, my roomie switched my lights to 12/12 for a couple days to find their sex. They need to sex soon because they are getting too big for their 2 gal pots and I wouldn’t want to transplant if they are males.
Today I found another female! Woo hoo! Thats a total of 3 confirmed females now! I transplanted her into a 15 gal smart pot, topdressed, and added some worms. This plant is JK Rowling (Sappy Sour). She was my smallest plant for a long time because she was in a shitty small plastic container but she came back in full force once I transplanted her into a 3 gal smart pot. Now that she is in a 15 gal, it’s going down!
So far, I haven’t done anything for IPM (Intergrated pest management) so I’m looking into doing that soon. I’d like to think that my plants are healthy enough to fight anything off but I guess it is better safe then sorry.
I have a sample of some 420 Pest Bully that I will use. I’ll also use Dr.Bronners. I’m getting a sample of Big Time Exterminator as well.
Today i also combined my rice water microbes to milk to start up LABS . That will help with pest management as well!
Yesterday, I got a sample of Mammoth Microbes and I asked PFA how they felt about it. Most people had really good things to say so I’m excited to try it out.
From their website: “Our natural supplements unlock nutrients that are chemically-bound in soils or hydroponic systems and convert them into soluble forms that plants can easily take up through their roots. Our supplements contain a consortia of live microbes that function as self-replicating bioreactors that are 30x better at liberating nutrients than the average microbial community. Like micro bioreactors, our beneficial bacteria continually produce enzymes that function to mobilize nutrients in the growth medium. MAMMOTH P naturally accelerates the nutrient supply to plants to increase plant health, quality and yield.”

I kinda fudged up my clones that were in Aloe. The humidity dome wasn’t the right size so my clones dried out overnight. I tried to bring them back to life but two died off. I’m surprised the other 3 came back because they were looking really sad.
Looking a lil better now
My plants on 12/22
12/29. Getting a lil crowded- once I find the males there will be more room
That’s it for today!
